Ben Berkowitz

Chief Executive Officer

Ben Berkowitz is an owner operator of Long-Term Care and Senior Housing facilities in Florida and Massachusetts (and invested in facilities in other states). Ben is an innovative thinker, with a keen skill in developing business relationships. He’s focused on growing the company as well as the people within the firm. His leadership and dedication to invest in people as well as the assets has led to enormous success. Ben has extensive investment experience which sharpens his understanding of the nuances of each acquisition and the detailed focus needed for the success of each facility. Ben runs Pointe Group Care, LLC (PGC), a company headquartered in MA with a central corporate office providing operational support to its facilities. PGC employs staff focusing on operations, accounting, clinical, business development, technology and accounts receivable and payable. Ben is a CPA as well as a JD, and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.

Chris Hannon

Chief Operating Officer

Chris Hannon is an inspiring leader who provides strong day-to-day management and strategic vision in his role as the Operations Chief for Pointe Group Care. He is tirelessly focused on maintaining the company’s high standards of care and dedication to the communities it serves. Prior to joining the Pointe Group Care leadership team, Chris was the longtime administrator of the Southpointe skilled nursing facility and more recently the administrator of Baypointe. Chris grew up in a family of health care professionals and decided to study physical therapy and rehabilitation following a sports injury. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University and doctorate in physical therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions.

Chris Hannon

Chief Operating Officer

Chris Hannon is an inspiring leader who provides strong day-to-day management and strategic vision in his role as the Operations Chief for Pointe Group Care. He is tirelessly focused on maintaining the company’s high standards of care and dedication to the communities it serves. Prior to joining the Pointe Group Care leadership team, Chris was the longtime administrator of the Southpointe skilled nursing facility and more recently the administrator of Baypointe. Caterina Mina Imbriano LaBella

Chief Financial Officer

Caterina Mina Imbriano LaBella, who has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, has served as Pointe Group Care’s Finance Chief since 2016. She manages general accounting, budgeting and bookkeeping functions, billing and accounts receivable, payroll and 401(k) processes, workers’ compensation, corporate and tax filings, and insurance matters. Her role also includes oversight of human resources including policies and procedures. Prior to becoming CFO, Mina served as assistant controller and HR director for the company. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Bentley College.

He also is responsible for all backup and IT-related disaster recovery procedures. Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree from Suffolk University.

Paula Topjian

Director of Operations

Paula Topjian has extensive experience in the skilled nursing sector. As Director of Operations, Paula plans and monitors the operations of seven skilled nursing facilities across Massachusetts, providing guidance and support to management and front-line staff. She directs all operational and fiscal activities to ensure quality care and consistency with regulatory requirements and company standards. Paula is a licensed nursing home administrator, a CMS-certified health care quality surveyor, and an active member of the Mansfield (Mass.) Council on Aging. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and a master’s degree in organizational management from University of Phoenix.

Director of Operations

Paula Topjian has extensive experience in the skilled nursing sector. Daniel Gomez

Regional Director of Operations (Florida Division)

Originally from the Chicago area, Daniel Gomez relocated to Florida in 2006. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and an Associate Degree in Construction Management. Daniel now holds the position of Regional Director of Operations (Florida.). He is responsible to lead the strategic direction, vision, growth, and performance of 3 Senior Living Communities; encompassing 2 Skilled Nursing Facilities, and 3 Assisted Living Facilities.

As a seasoned professional with over 13 years of healthcare leadership experience, Daniel is known for driving brand growth, maximizing operational experience, and delivering financial performance. He is a licensed as a Florida Nursing Home Administrator and is focused on completing his MBA from the University of Central Florida.

Daniel Gomez

Keith Sandford, RN

Guinevere Kulie, RN

Regional Director of Clinical Operations (Florida Division)

Guinevere “Gwen” Kulie is the Director of Clinical Operations for AdviniaCare Florida, where she leads her clinical team in providing “Exceptional Care, Every Resident, Every Day.”

Gwen started her career in nursing over 25 years ago and began her career as a nurse working in the hospital setting and then transitioned into Long term care after realizing her passion was serving the aging population.

Gwen lives in Nokomis, FL. with her husband Tony, their 3 children and 3 geriatric dogs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time boating or hanging out on the beach with her family.

Robin Paey, RN

Director of Clinical Reimbursement

Robin Paey is a registered nurse who leads Pointe Group Care’s clinical reimbursement program, driving excellence and adherence to high-quality care throughout the organization. She oversees multiple skilled nursing facilities to ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and managed care processes. Robin’s nursing and health care career spans decades, from her roots as a visiting nurse in rural New Hampshire, to managing an Alzheimer’s care unit, to serving as a director of nursing. Raffaele Rotondo

Regional Director of Sales and Marketing (Florida Division)

Raffaele joined The Pointe Group in 2021 as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing after more than 22 years of leadership in Assisted Living marketing, communications, strategic planning, and business development. In addition, he has a strong background in operations with senior living that includes food & beverage, business office management, and as an Executive Director. He has always had a strong passion for senior living due to his upbringing with family members in the industry. He received his B.S. from Hodges University of Management.

Raffaele Rotondo

Regional Director of Sales and Marketing (Florida Division)

Raffaele joined The Pointe Group in 2021 as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing after more than 22 years of leadership in Assisted Living marketing, communications, strategic planning, and business development. In addition, he has a strong background in operations with senior living that includes food & beverage, business office management, and as an Executive Director. He has always had a strong passion for senior living due to his upbringing with family members in the industry. He received his B.S. from Hodges University of Management.

Alan Lappas

Regional Director of Sales and Marketing (Massachusetts Division)

Alan Lappas has 10 years of experience in both Sales and Operations in senior living communities, serving as a Senior Sales Director and Executive Director. Alan is passionate about helping families navigate their way through this journey. He provides the resources and education needed to help in this new lifestyle.

In a former life, Alan served as a Police officer in the town of Maynard, Massachusetts. He currently lives on the cape with his family, including his dog, Stella. When he has the opportunity, he enjoys golfing and boating.

He is a dynamic kitchen leader who motivates chefs, dietitians and kitchen staff to exceed consumer expectations in preparing and serving quality food in elegant, restaurant-style settings. Richard’s role at Pointe Group Care is to guide the AdviniaCare dining experience and locally inspired menus which include home-style baked goods, fresh-caught fish, seasonal and ethnic specialties, and daily pasta and soup specials. Richard holds certifications for food service director, allergen awareness and ServSafe food safety training. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from University of Phoenix.
